The Company and Its Activities
Plastinnova 2000 Ltd. is a professional manufacturer in three types of businesses, which are as follows: ˇ Manufacturing of thermoplastic products (Plastinnova manufactures plastic products both for technical and ordinary use.) ˇ Manufacturing of moulds and tools (Plastinnova produces manufacturing tools both for manufacturing of plastic products and for metal-working.) ˇ Printing onto plastic products using screen-printing technology (The products of such activity of Plastinnova are mainly used in advertising.) The company has been in the business from 1984. In the meantime, the type of the company, its name, location and the number of its owners had some changes. The changes, the professionalism, experience and high-level knowledge of its staff, the modern technology helped Plastinnova 2000 Ltd. to become an internationally well-known specialist in its businesses. From 1993, the company works in its actual location, in a total area of 8800 m2. The new-made office and production facilities -of a total area of 2100 m2- are located in one of the best industrial areas of Budapest, in the heart of Central Europe, near strategically important transport routes, what makes the location of the company excellent. Plastinnova 2000 Ltd. is an extremely export-oriented company working almost 100 % for the international market. The EU-countries, especially Germany, Sweden, Italy, Great Britain and France are the main markets of Plastinnova's products and services at present. Thanks to its main characteristic features such as reliability, accuracy, high quality, high level of flexibility, price competitiveness, Plastinnova is considered a good choice for international customers. The company gains in international popularity continuously. Among Plastinnova's numerous customers, which gave orders to the company directly or via middlemen, you can find companies such as Mercedes-Benz (D), BMW (D), General Electric (USA), Unilever (USA), McDonald's (USA), Pepsi Cola (USA), Henkel (D), Szabolcstej (H), Szobi Szörp (H), Vadstena (S), Neo-Plastic (D), Slovakofarma (SK). In production of thermoplastic products, Plastinnova 2000 Ltd. has got the biggest experience in manufacturing products of the following groups of commodities: ˇ Hardware for food-service for international airlines (e.g., VARIG, Cathay Pacific, Malaysian, Ethiopian, etc.) ˇ Cable clips / shackles (mainly used in electronics) and other types of plastic clips / shackles ˇ Caps for bottles of sirup, edible oil, mineral water, etc. (Note: Plastinnova had an officially registered and internationally applied result in R & D of new types of caps; and it has an other R & D result in this field waiting for registration.) ˇ Automobile accessories (e.g., switch box, number plate holder, etc.) Both in manufacturing of thermoplastic products and in production of manufacturing tools, also in printing onto plastic products using screen-printing technology, Plastinnova uses the equipment able to meet the highest international requirements. Plastinnova uses raw materials purchased from internationally famous manufacturers such as DuPont, Bayern, Hoechst, TVK, BASF, Böhler, Thyssen, Hasco, DME. Plastinnova has all the abilities to give full service both in production of thermoplastic products and in production of manufacturing tools. For example, in production of thermoplastic products, Plastinnova has the ability to make the product plans, model designs, finite element modelling; to design and produce the moulds; to purchase the necessary raw materials; to manufacture the thermoplastic products itself; to ship the finished products to the customers. Consequently, the customers do not need to give Plastinnova the manufacturing mould, the raw material, the product plan, the model design and other things needed for the production of a thermoplastic product. The customers should just tell Plastinnova the idea about the product, the expectations and requirements on it; and Plastinnova will provide the required product in the required quality and form in the shortest possible time. This clearly shows that in production of thermoplastic products, Plastinnova is able to give a full service basically without outside help. (Just the heat treatment of the moulds is made by other professional companies.) Nevertheless, Plastinnova also accepts orders, by which no full service is involved, and by which the customers provide one or more things needed for the production, e.g. the raw material, the mould, etc. The same is characteristic of Plastinnova's production of manufacturing tools. At present, in Plastinnova's main
factory, there are two big workshops, one for manufacturing of
thermoplastic products, the other is for production of manufacturing
tools. (By safety reasons, the printing office is in a place separate
from the main factory.) The total number of employees of the company is 35 persons at present. The attached illustration shows the organizational structure of the company. In its international correspondence, Plastinnova mainly uses English and German, but using a subcontractor's help, Russian and Chinese (Pinyin, Mandarin) can also be used.
